39 y.o. with a baby girl, named Elaina,who was born on Nov 1st 2007- I am a stay at home mom now but am still a licensed RN.I have been married to hubby since May 11, 2002. I wasn't supposed to be able to have any kids but proved my doctor wrong without taking the fertility meds he said I would need to take to ever conceive. God has blessed us greatly!! I am a vaccinating, cosleeping( getting tired of it though), non-CIO, disposable diaper using, proud mommy!

gah, I love your daughters name! My cousin is Elaina as well. (She's almost 15 though)

Yeah, I don't agree with that. Just because you're not currently practicing, that doesn't make you any less of a nurse. My grandma kept up her license for many years after she retired. She's 80 now and has since let it go, but she will always be a nurse in my eyes.

Absolutely not.. new to this and look for help and info to parents that have been through some things already cause i dont have many people in my family to talk tooo so not at all.

Thanks so much...I knew I should go by weight not age and that information really helped knowing you got it off the tylenol manufactures sheet. Thanks so much, I was digging through all my pedis paper work and could not find my sheet and couldnt remember what she told me!!! Usually I stick with motrin cuz it works best for my son but after almost two days it wasnt responding as well. Thanks again. I hate shots and ear infections! I swear my son gets raging fevers EVERY time he gets a shot. Good thing I break them up! Thanks again hun.

yeah.... and we know, most men ARE just as bad if not worse than babies themselves. lol!!

So is my boy, for the most part he is a great baby! but you're right, if I decide to have another when he is around 2 or 3... (Lord help me if he is saving all the terrible kid stuff for age 2) and the new baby isn't as easy a baby as he was... well then I am in for a world or FUN. lmao. not.

We don't have the room for another yet though, we moved into a one br apartment from a 2 bd 2 ba condo... don't ask, long story.. so we had to downgrade for a bit, re-coupe and hopefully move into a bigger place by next year or so. we'll see... right now though, I am happy being a Mom to one! plus with having my bf and my dog, it's more like I have 3 kids... not 1.

Well Happy birthday! I am glad I waited too, though to be honest I wanted one before I turned 30, but when that time came around, I was STILL being selfish and wanted to party and have fun. It took me a long time to get it out of my system but I finally did and I am glad I waited! I would like one more too.. and same as you dont want to wait that long. I don't know... need to do some serious thinking. My Mom had my sister at age 40! nowadays more women are having kids later and later! look at the stars! lol. I live in Cali! uh oh... crying baby....

LOl- that is weird! I went into labor on Oct 31st at about 12 mn- 28 hrs later I had to have a csection becasue she had been sideways but turned faceup. I was sooo happy I didnt have her ON Halloween - i wanted her to have her OWN day. I will add you to my parenttank!
