I gave birth to my beautiful baby girl on the 19th of November 2008 at 6.36pm which is also my birthday. Tayla was a wonderful birthday present despite the pain! I was always very small during my pregnancy and at 37 weeks they dr's realised that she had stopped growing so i was induced at 38 weeks. It was only by chance they had discovered this,i was sent for that ultrasound to check if she had turned from being breach and thats when they discovered the placenta was no longer working. I always think how lucky i was that iended up being sent for that ultrasound, things may not have been the happy endingI had!Being induced was a horrible experience but I had to do it. Tayla weighed 5lbs 7oz.

Before I was a Mum
I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunisations.

Before I was a Mum -
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts.
I slept all night.

Before I was a Mum
I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mum
I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put her down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mum.

Before I was a Mum -
I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy.

Before I was a Mum -
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mum.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mum

Yeah Craig always drops his and forgets he even had it lol and screams in pain again, so i always have to keep giving it back to him, but he'll chew on ANYTHING he can get his hands on lol. Aw crap thats a lot of teeth at once   the poor darling

Craig's been teething since 11 weeks, but tonight has been hell its awake every 30 mins screaming and chewing on his fingers, i've tried everything but hes still in pain, i can feel the toothy its the left top next to his front teeth. I'm over it!, Nic moved out because he doesnt like my mum, so i'm getting 500% times the stress with no help its really gettinhg to me and I had to quit my course because of him
