Everything is going well. I have gained more weight than 3 pounds, that's for sure. I always gain weight during the holidays. Too many tamales and chocolate. I still fit in my pre-maternity clothes except for the belly part. Yes, my little moves lots. I can't believe she's going to get even bigger. My doctor is 42 and has a 3 year old and she kind of preferred the amnio because it bought her peace of mind. Since I decided against it, I'm sure she'll drop it. I'll see her today at 3 to hear the heart beat. My teenage daughters will accompany me. This is their second visit with me. They are just so excited about their little sister.

Did the specialist recommend you have an amnio anyway? Mine did even though there were no markers either.

Wow, and you are due on the 18th? I'm due on the 9th. That's pretty cool we even have close due dates. I got a sonogram at 7 weeks because I had some spotting an then again at 9 weeks, 5 days. The fetus grew so much in that short time. The baby looked like a gummy bear. So cute.

I'm a little nervous but at least we'll be ready for what is coming. I've never had to have one before. I was in my early 20's when I had my first two. You probably understand how I feel. I live in San Antonio, Texas. I've only been to Florida once- Disneyland road trip. It was great.
