over three years ago, i dropped out of a phd program in neuroscience at the university of british columbia to start working on baby gaga with my partner nick. back then, we were reviewing strollers and getting the hang of designing user-friendly web interfaces. as you can see, we've come a long way since then!

i work primarily in: site design, research and development, and as the in-house artist and writer, as well as acting as the administrator for the forum and our myspace page.

i've done endless hours of research on pregnancy in preparation for our pregnancy calendar and actually studied the anatomy and physiology of pregnancy during college (i have a B.A. in bio-psychology). i've also spent two years doing independent research on human sexuality (of which pregnancy is quite an important part obviously).

i'm very interested in gender politics and trying to find realistic ways to create a more supportive environment for all parents (from teenagers to single mothers of six kids) to be able to educate themselves, as well as work, and raise their children to be happy, responsible, and healthy members of our planet.

we just recently expanded the forum to be more member-centered as well as self-moderating-- and it's been no small task to create some of these tools. at this point we're in the "beta" phase of launching this for live use on the internet and hopefully we'll be able to iron out all the kinks asap.

 I don't know....it worked when I had last updated it, then I noticed the links were all broken today.  
I could update it manually, though it will take a long time, but my concern is that it has happened at random before so it might happen again.

 Well the thing is I didn't put forum in them...it was memers.blah blah and they worked previously, then stopped working without me editing them. I didn't know if this was some type of glitch in the forum...

is having an issue.  In the op of that thread we have kept a running list of member links that have been referred within the thread.  ALL of the links are now dead links, though the previously worked. This has happened before to one or two links at a time, but now it's all of them.  Is there any way to fix this and prevent it from continuing to happen?  Thanks.

NP! it amazes me that you've managed to create a healthy addiction with only 1 negative side effect... lack of sleep   but, then again, majority of mama's on this site are losing sleep anyway for other reasons (kids!), so i guess that evens it out, haha

This thread has been around a long time now and new birth moms are joining all the time. When I joined this site, it was hard to find other birth moms and i think if this was made a sticky it would help other BM's find eachother and offer support!
