I am the mom of Becca, born 2/26/12. This is my first child, and to be honest, I've never really thought about or wanted children ever. Despite my best efforts, here I am! I'm viewing this as a "happy accident" and while I'm a single parent, I have a wonderfully supportive family who has been there for me every step of the way with lots of love and encouragement. Thanks to a phenomenally understanding job, I was able to move back to MA from Seattle at 20weeks to be with my family and still keep my job. That alone makes me feel like the luckiest person in the universe! My daughter is incredible and now that she's here, I can't imagine life without her! I'm totally winging it as far as motherhood is concerned and so far so good. I'm glad I stumbled upon this site when I was pregnant and have found it invaluable for advice and support.
