Hello my name is Kari. My husband Jared and I are expecting our first baby in April. Him Name is Ellyot Cyril Clancy.
My son has a chromosomal abnormality that can cause a wide range of health and developmental issues, It is called DiGeorge Syndrome. As of right now we only know he has a heart defect and possibly a growth hormone deficiency. He may have many or only a few of the symptoms, with varying severity.... but we will not know till he is born and as the years pass. I have NEVER loved someone so much and I have yet to even meet this little guy.





There is a foundation that is dedicated to raising awareness of 22q/VCFS/DiGeorge Syndrome and reaching out to families with children with DiGeorge Syndrome, and the charities that support them, to help families like mine deal with difficult situations we face each day. http://www.dempsterfamilyfoundation.org
