Me and my baby are having our first little peanut in February 2013...couldnt be happier if we tried...=D We are a same sex couple in a relationship for nearly 2 years and just got married July 13, 2012 and have been using a donor to do at home inseminations since Jan. 2011, and we lost our first angel in November 2012 at 10 weeks. We were heartbroken to say the least but we immediately started trying again, and had success May of this year, right around the time our first angel should have been here (coincidence??) We knew we were pregnant before the test came back positive cause of the same symptoms as before. We did 3 tests, all positive, and went to the doctor to find out we are due February 13, 2013..we are beside ourselves with happiness, and are trying to not buy stuff too soon, we heard it was bad luck. Is this true? We cant help it. We have wanted this baby all our lives. What are some symptoms you ladies are having (for those due around the same time as us)...we'd love to hear from you first time preg mommies also...how excited are you and have you bought stuff yet? This pregnancy is going much more smoothly, as with the 1st baby, we were at the e.r at 5 weeks bleeding....now we are nearly 10 weeks, and just saw our baby on the screen with heartbeat and she said things all look like they are progressing fine :-) and momma has only had slight pink and brown spotting but no other difficulties. She got severe sciatica after we lost our 1st baby, but other than that, and EXTREMELY sore and sensitive breast and nipples, we hope to meet our angel in February. We feel so blessed.
Update: we are in the hospital. Today is Aug. 22, 2012 and our baby no longer had a heartbeat at our check up yesterday. we were 14w2d pregnant, but the baby measured at 13w...D&C just done and we are so empty inside. Baby #2 just joined their sibling in heaven. Love and miss our angels....xoxo

Just thought I'd add an update being that I never think to...as far as we know, things are still going well. We go back to the doctor Aug. 21...at the last appt., we heard the heartbeat. It was the sweetest sound ever. They said everything looked and sounded good. Still due Feb. 13 and she says she is starting to feel pregnant now...:-) we are going right into our 2nd trimester next week, we will be 14 weeks on wedn. the 15th...we are beside ourselves wanting to know if its a little boy or precious girl. Going to check into 3d ultrasounds as they can tell sooner. Will update soon...request me if you want...:-)
