i'm different. i’m affectionate. i’m a bit neurotic, but lovable. i like sushi and unsweetened iced tea. the little things in life make me happy. i love chocolate and a bargain. i read my horoscope daily. i will remind you to count your blessings every day. my husband is my hero. i’m anxiously awaiting the arrival of our little princess (7/29/12!). i wish i took more pictures. i believe chivalry is not dead. i wish i posted more blog entries [chrissyislucky.blogspot.com]. i adore my teddy, charlie. i love to wake up naturally or to the sound of rain. outta-the-blue hugs make me giggle like a little girl. smiling, laughing A LOT, cuddling, kissing are just a few of my favorite things. [peonies] & pink roses melt my heart. i live off of iced coffee & kombucha tea. kissing in the rain is only fun if you’re in love. the beach is where i belong. singing in the car makes me giggle… can’t forget the people in the car next to me. camping is something i thought i’d hate. frozen york peppermint patties are bad for you but taste so good! texting is a way of life. i take trips to cold stone and never finish my ice cream… wanna know more, just ask!

11/22/2011: WE'RE PREGNANT!
BFP on Wednesday, November 16th, then double & triple confirmation on November 19th & 20th (not that we needed it!)!! We could NOT be happier. Words can't describe our how thankful we are to God for blessing our lives so quickly. 2011 has been an incredibly challenging year (besides the wedding and now our pregnancy!); maybe God was repaying us for our patience during the uncontrollably difficult situations we've had throughout the year. 3 Geoffrey and I are so excited to be parents. My mom and father were SO happy for us, too. We just broke the big news to them on Sunday night, along with my immediate family. We haven't had a baby in our family since Hunter, which was eight years ago, so everyone is already anxiously awaiting little sugar plum's arrival.
12/16/2011: Initial pre-natal doctor's visit. Yup, definitely pregnant!
12/29/2011: Uh oh, little scare; back to doc's. Thank goodness everything is fine
01/13/2012: 11W4D but measuring at a week older!
01/18/2012: First ti-mester screening; "Hi mom & dad!"
02/09/2012: 15W4D and already sucking my thumb!
03/07/2012: It's a GIRL!!
03/18/2012: First kick! What an amazing feeling! Popcorn popping...
03/31/2012: 'Is she moving enough?' She's perfect & dancing away (& sleeping face-down on mommy's bladder)!
04/04/2012: 23W3D with a strong heartbeat of 150! I have an anterior placenta so that could be why I am not feeling her move as much as I would like. *sigh of relief*
05/02/2012: Third trimester screening: Our final visit to the perinatologist! She loves hiding behind her arms but we still managed to get a pretty 4D face shot. "I have hair & daddy's nose and weight 2 1/2lbs. I'm getting big!"
05/04/2012: 27W5D Blood test at our OB checkup for gestational diabetes. No weight gain but doc said no worries, as long as cupcake is gaining.
05/24/2012: 30W4D In the home stretch! Perfect heartbeat & today is officially the beginning of my maternity leave!
06/07/2012: 32W4D Normal check-up turns into a hospital visit... 1-2cm dialated with contractions. I'm admitted & given steroids to help baby's lung development. Extremely nerve wrecking!! I'm also given meds to stop contractions. Thankfully, all goes well & I'm discharged on Sunday, 4cm dialated. SERIOUS BEDREST FROM HERE ON OUT!! Doctor's expect an early arrival for cupcake. Hopefully, not too early; 36weeks+ would be ideal.
6/13/2012: 33W4D Dr. C checked me; no changes, yippee!!
6/20/2012: 34W4D Danny, APN, checked me; no changes again!!
6/27/2012: 35W4D Getting extremely uncomfortable; another visit to Dr. C with no changes. A few more days & we're in the clear. If we can get through Sunday, cupcake can come out to play whenever she wants. <3
