Momma of three beautiful children and wife of an amazing husband. I volunteer as much as possible with the Girl Scouts, FRG, and my children's elementary school; as well as in general whenever the opportunity arises. I am currently working towards my Associate's degree in Psychology and will be continuing my education until I can become a certified Mental Health Counselor. My main goal is to work with the Military community in helping them overcome the challenges of this lifestyle; I already do this now with my volunteer work, but I would like to make more of an impact at all levels rather than just with my friends and acquaintances. My husband has been deployed three times with the Army, twice to Iraq and his most recent to Afghanistan. In our 7 years of marriage, we have been physically separated for more than 3.5 years total; meaning over half of our marriage has been spent apart from each other. Even though it has been a challenge, we are stronger than ever. My children are all so different from each other in their personalities, which makes for an interesting household! I LOVE to read and can get interested in a variety of subjects rather quickly. My favorite authors are Stephen King and James Patterson. I also love to cook and try out new recipes as much as I can.
