I'm absolutely in love with two men: Trenton Kayle Brown and Hunter Carson Brown!   And on Nov 22, I found out that our little family is growing by two more feet.

We'd been ttc for months by then, so I was super aware of my period time/arrival. I took one the day before I was to miss my period with an early detection test. Neg. Figured I'd wait it out and see how it went.

A week late, I took another one, an early detection one because it's the ones given to me by a friend. Neg.

I've had hypothyroidism for nearly a year and I thought maybe my levels were off, causing me to miss my period. Get a blood test done to check my hormone levels for my thyroid. Normal.

Ok, wait another week and try to get a blood test done.

Two weeks late, I call my dr office. They tell me to come down and take a free urine test. Neg. Again. They suggest I take a blood test just to be 100% certain (well, duh people. That's what I wanted in the first place).

The next day I get a call. My gut is in my shoes when I see the caller id, because for months I'd been told a neg result. No way. It's positive! They found it really weird that I wasn't showing up on a urine test, so they told me to take a hpt test and if it was negative, get another blood draw to make sure the hgc (hcg?) was building.

No need. Strong pos on both hpt that night and the next morning. I had heard of some woman not getting a pos until 6 weeks. But I thought because i got a pos with my son the day of my missed period, it wouldn't happen. But 6 weeks to the day was my pos!

I can't wait to see who's gonna join our little family. Little baby, your are already so loved and we can't wait for your arrival.
