Hi everyone, I'm Lauren.

I am 16, and having my first baby.
This wasn't planned, I wanted to wait at least 10 more years to have a baby, but the tables were turned.
I got pregnant to a guy I was seeing for 2 years, yes we were young but I thought I loved him. When I found out I was pregnant he left. He is also 16 and he said he just didn't want his life ruined and left.

This is not what I ever expected for myself. I had big plans to finish High school, go to college to become a physical therapist, and then start a family, but things aren't always as they seem.

This wasn't what was planned, but I can't dwell on it now. It is what it is. I am going to do everything in my power to make my life, and also my baby's life the best it can be.

My parents were not happy but they support me. I am living with them still, and I have a job. It's not much, but I'm doing what I can. I plan on going to school, my junior year, until I have the baby. I will then do online schooling for three months then go back. I will finish high school, I will do everything it takes to reach my goals while giving my baby a great life.

A lot of my friends and family judge me, but I can't worry about that now. This is what happened and I will make the best of it!
