Our daughter was born Aug.28.2007. She is an absolute doll and we love her to pieces. We will be adding to our family on/around May 1st, 09. A surprise baby, but are just tickled none the less. Hubby's in the Army and we are on our second deployment. He left when I was about 8 weeks with this baby. He'll hopefully be home for R&R for the birth and then I get to raise a 1.5 year old and a new born by myself for several months. Wish me luck! LOL its going to be an adventure.

after another night of puking for no reason and my period was 2 weeks late I finally took a test.

What was your reaction?
terrified that the baby went through surgery with me. Scared that I couldn't hold a pregnancy.

My hubs, cause he was right there

We basically looked at it together.
What was his reaction?
BIG HUGE grin, thrilled, excited, gave me a huge hug and kissed me. Then went and told our daughter she was going to be a big sister.

OOO yes. I have lost 13 lbs from it.
What are your fears?
complications from having back surgery right before I got pregnant. Being alone as hubby is deployed. Him not making it back for the birth. How to keep up with a new born and a toddler. How the drugs I was on for my back would effect the baby. How bad my back is going to get with this pregnancy.
What are you most happy about?
That God took it out of our hands to have another, because I dont think we would have otherwise.

Either or.

He wants another little girl though.

we'll see what happens, because I might not be able to have an epidural this time.
Are you scared about labor?
HELL YES! Absolutely terrified. Thats how I hurt my back in the first place was delieverying my daughter.
What do you think will be the worst part of labor?
the fear. honestly.
Have you taken any classes?
no I did it once before, pretty sure not much has changed in a year. LOL
Who will be in the delivery room?
Hopefully Sean, probably some friends and maybe my mom.
Are you having the birth videotaped?
Yes. Over the shoulder shots.
Do you think you will cry when you see the baby for the first time?
like a baby, without a doubt.
What do you think the fathers reaction to the baby will be?
he'll cry and tell me he's proud of me.  
How do you think family and friends will feel?
Everyone is happy and thrilled and excited, but scared for my back.
