Happily married to my sweetheart and we have two beautiful girls.
A little about me;
I finished my degrees while being a mom and working.
Pro college
Pro education
Pro finding/doing what you what
Love getting together with family and/or friends over dinner. I am a strong believer in eating meals at the dinner table without interruption of the tv, or other devices. Watching a movie with dinner is "treat". I live being at home with the people I love.
I love cooking homemade meals
I adore my crockpots (yes I have 2)
I love meal planning-it's a game to see how far I can stretch our food budget
I hate doing dishes an laundry-therefore I believe that is not just a "woman's" job. It is my husband's house too-therefore chores are not gender specific
I love when I have time to make my bed in the morning-but that not always gets done
A little breakdown on my parenting...
Love my OB/Gyn
Pain meds-yes please
Scared of c sections-but whatever has the best outcome for safety
Breast is best
Baby-wearing
Love the binky
Love to rock my babies to sleep
Believe in naps
Love routines
Don't have to worry about what to do with a penis-to circ or not-we have 2 girls
CIO-but comfort too
Girls need their daddies, so giving every opportunity to let dads make parenting choices
Co-sleep at times, but I sleep better without the kiddos in bed and when I sleep well, I'm a better mommy
Practice random acts of kindness within the family
Praise often-and mostly for no reason
Limit tv, encourage books
Baking cookies for no reason
Family beach vacations
Taking the kids to the park to get the wiggles out
Whatever it takes to make my kids successful (not in weight of wealth, rather women in general)
Don't like it? I'm glad that me and my husband are ones to parent our children...
To be continued...
