Well, my name is Amanda. I am 23 years old, and I am a pre-nursing student. Currently taking pre-reqs before applying to the nursing program, and before I returned to school, my boyfriend and I found out that we are expecting a baby   This will be our first child together, and he has talked about being together for the rest of our lives! Its hard to believe that I am five months and 2 weeks pregnant already. Time really does fly by! I found out on November 13th that my boyfriend and I are having a baby boy. We have been on the war path on finding clothes and a crib at cheap prices, and its been really exciting so far   I've also gotten into the baby registries and I've had fun making those! Almost too much fun, oops lol. My boyfriend's mother and I have bought some baby shower supplies and she said that her niece and her will start planning something. As you can see, I like to plan for things and try to get them done quickly, but I understand that things can't always go according to plan. I won't lie though. It has been a challenge to go to school, work a work study job and handle another part-time job on the side, but its been a good journey so far and I wouldn't change that for anything. I hope that I will be the best mom that I can be and I know my boyfriend has been looking forward to being able to hold our baby boy. I was able to get him to talk to the baby boy, and I think he liked it   It truly is amazing how being pregnant changes your outlook on life and how you quickly realize that its not just yourself anymore; its a child that you also must look out for too. As the old saying goes: It truly is amazing how something so small can inspire a love so grand.
