My name is Riley, and I am 25 years old. I am the Mommy to an amazing little girl name Abigail. She goes by Abby, cause that's just how she rolls!  




I was happily married for almost five years until this last August, when my amazing, wonderful, precious best friend in the world became my angel, just over three months before he would have met his little girl.



Colton, I miss you. I miss you every single day. You are my best friend, my lover, my savior, my redemption, my forever and always, my yesterday and tomorrow. You are my everything. You were the best 11 years of my life. You saved me in so many ways...I can never say how thankful I am for you being the brains and the courage when I didn't have the guts. I can't imagine what would've happened if you hadn't been in my life, and I am so thankful for the time we had. No matter what, even if I had known this is how it would end, I would not have missed a moment of our dance.





I can be in love with you without you. I will love you forever and always, to the moon and back, to infinity and beyond.

I don't plan on posting pictures of me or my loved ones on here...This is the internet, and I don't trust it anymore than I trust my dog with food in the area...(He's a big Rottie, and has swiped chicken fingers off of the tray sitting on the stove before)



At 1:16 on the afternoon of December 2nd, Abigail Hailey Colton officially came into the world... Abigail, which means my father's joy, or my father rejoices, has an obvious special meaning to me...And I can think of nothing more suitable for my daughter.



Abby came into the world weighing in at 7 pounds, 9 ounces, and measuring at 20.53 inches. She is my everything, my evidence that my life is not over...that it never actually ended. It just seemed to for a time.


Abby's 6 weeks old, and is thriving. I am so blessed to have this little angel. She makes my angel proud.
