I got married in January of 2012 and we delayed our "family only" wedding party to May. I was driving with my parents and suddenly a drunk driver hit us from behind. Our car spun and the right side of the vehicle hit the freeway wall. My parents were on the rightside of the car and they died instantly. I was rushed to the hospital as I was two months pregnant and they were afraid I miscarried. Thankfully I didn't miscarry... but I then realized that my parents wouldn't be there for the party. I was going to wait until Mother's Day, May 13, 2012 to tell my parents I was expecting as a Mother's Day gift... but they never made it. I should have told them earlier but I just thought they would love to know on Mother's Day. They are now in a better place and I cannot complain. My twin brother had a stroke on September 19, 2012 but no one was home. My aunt and little cousin took my brother in there home when my parents died. So when my aunt came home she quickly called the hospital and us to tell them the news. The next morning, September 20, 2012 my brother passed away at age 20. I will miss my family forever! That is absolutely terrible hun.   I'm so sorry for your loss. I wish they would be here you celebrate that little one with you but I am also happy that you, the little one and your husband made it out.
