I'm 23 abt to turn 24 and so is my husband. We have been together for a year and we got married on June 1, 2012. Everything went so fast. We moved into our first joint apartment on June 25, 2012. On July 3st I missed my period so on the 6thnd I bought a HPT and all three came back positive. I went to my OB/GYN for my first visit and he confirmed my pregnancy with a more accurate pregnancy test also it was almost two weeks after i took the HPT and my HCG was more elevated than before. He referred me to a OB/GYN Clinic That I started to visit since July 27, 2012. Had my blood drawn to test if I was pregnant since that is most accurate second only to a ultrasound. Went to see my assigned CNM "certified nurse midwife" 7 days later and I was very pregnant, even at this point I was still mad at my husband so I didnt take him to my visits even though he always ask to come with me. I was mad because i couldnt go down the shore with my friends and just do what i did every summer because i was tired all the tme. I had my next OB appointment two weeks later and they did my first prenatal profile blood works and I also heard the baby's FHR at my 11 weeks check up via a doppler. I had my first sonogram on August 31, 2012 the baby was too busy playing hide and seek the technician could hardly get a still shot. they also changed my due date from March 9th to March 17 saying the baby was too small. Was a little disappointed but will keep my baby warmer and help her develop little bit more "anything for my boo crunch". Had my OB appointment on september 5th and my blood works were good and the FHR was good too. Follow up appointment was October 2, 2012 routine maternal and fetal check up was good. November 7th was my next OB visit and Anatomy scan sonogram which sould have reveal the sex but the baby was not ready to let mom know who was "kicking up a storm in her womb" I think the technician had an idea but wasnt positive so she didnt tell me. Next doctor's visit is December 5th 2012 hope "she's" more cooperative this time. At this point Im just excited and couldnt be more happier wouldnt change it for nothing I love my womb hijacker already and it can only grow from here on out. My huband had been excited from day one and just cant wait for the baby to get her, he's reading a book "The developing Child" because he has little to no parental experience and he knows I got the knowledge and skills but either way we'll do our best at coparenting. I don't even know whats the gender is but I've been shopping for a girl but my husband keeps all the receipts because he wants a boy. I love my little family we have created.
