I was born into this world kicking and screaming on the morning of September 10, 1989. Making me that big and wonderful 18. And yes, also making me another young, teen Mom. If you think you know me and want to put me with the category of unfit teenage parents, you can take that static shit and shove it. You are entitled to your own opinion, but until you know me, please don't judge me. I got married at the age of 16 to a wonderful and loving man, Jeremy. We have been married for over two year now and right before our one year wedding anniversary, we decided we wanted to become parents. So I stopped taking the pill and 6 months later, out little angel was created.
Our son arrived into our world on the morning of February 21st 2008. After 17 hours of labor with an epidural that didn't work and a hour and half of pushing, he took his first breath at 1:33am and made me the proudest and happiest person alive. Jason Douglas weighed 7 pounds 2 ounces and was 20 and a half inches long. He ripped his Mommy from one end to the other and and caused me to get 12 stitches to close me back up. I can honestly say though that what I got at the end of it was worth every single second of agony. I have many years of happiness to look forward to that well then make up for the months of pain and discomfort I was in.
Congratulations to all the Mommy's to be. It truly is the best and most rewarding experience of a lifetime.
