My husband and I got married in July of 2007, althought we've been together for over 7. We were thinking about waiting to start our cute little family but decided that we want to be young parents and that we were just going to go for it. May 9, 2009 at 11:52 we added our first little addition to our family. Madison Nicole decided that I needed to celebrate mothers day this year and came 6 days early on the day before mothers day. She was 7lbs, 11 ounces and was 20" long. Everything went very well and I can't believe she's a month old already! She smiles now and has just started giggling, it melts my heart!!
Here's my pregnancy log....:
August 13-November 5
BFP!: August 31! I can't BELIEVE IT!
Second BFP: (Just Checking) Sept 1 "PREGNANT"!
First Doctors Apt: August 29 Chickened out on the blood work!!
Second Doctors Apt: Oct 13 Blood work and physical etc. Heard the little heartbeat beating at 170bpm. I measured right at 10w which is what I was predicting and everything went great. I didn't even pass out for the blood work which is SHOCKING!
November 5- January 28
Nov 7: I think I feel "flutters"....?
Apt Nov 11: Got to hear the little heartbeat again BPM 160. It kept kicking at the doppler it was cute.
APT Dec 10: Heartbeat was around 150 BPM and going strong.
Apt Dec 22 Ultrasound: We got to see our little one wiggling and moving around. It was absolutely amazing. It was playing with it's toes and sucking on it's fingers, stretching...just so adorable. We stayed with leaving the sex for birth so for now it's a healthy and happy little baby!
Apt: Jan 19: I am "all baby" and everything looks perfect. I even got a comment on how active the little one is, trust me I feel it!
January 28- May 14
Apt: February 20: All is well with the little wiggle worm. I'm measuring right on target, 28cm at 28 weeks. Heart rate is still 140 and all is well.
Apt: March 23: All is well, baby was awake so the heartrate was around 154. It was kicking and moving around like always. Measured 32cm at 32 weeks. Right on target. This was my last 4 week apt, it's 2 weeks apart for a while!!
Apt: April 7: I was told today that I was the healthiest person that my midwife had seen all day. She commented that my weight, size, blood pressure, everything was looking perfect. She commented that we'll probably have a small baby (I was 6lb 7oz) so that really didn't surprise me.
Apt: April 20: Last two week apt then we're down to weekly. I also get to do the very exciting Group B strep test...not excited about it....
Apt: April 28: Thank goodness no Group B Strep here which means I don't have to have antibiotics during labor which is a relief. Other than that still just a regular checkup. Healthy as a horse which is good...
Next Apt: May 4: First internal exam.....oh boy...... got moved to the 12th, yay!!!
Had her May 9, 2009 6 days early. Labor wasn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be and i managed to do it without a single needle prick!!!
