I'm 23, I've been married for almost three years now. I have a 17 month old son, and I just found out that I'm expecting again.
my first pregnancy started out really well, no morning sickness or anything of the sort, i was just tired and happy...
at about 20 weeks i went in for a regular check up scan and the thech told me that the babys kidneys were not looking too good (one was small and one was large).
after going to a specialst, i was informed my son had PUV, which basiclly means he cant urinat natrually (due to two flaps of skin blocking his urinary system) unless he has alot of preasure in his baldder.
at 31 weeks+5 i was hospitalized after discovering that the amount of amniotic fluid was going down rapidly, and the next day, on the 6 of feburary 2008 i had a c-section and my baby boy came screaming in to the world.
thank god he was able to breath on his own, and at the age of two weeks went through a procedure to open up the blockege.
after exactly 8 weeks (and a day before my dd) we were sent home, and have been healthy ever since (more or less, just the reguler flu and stuff...)
so basiclly what im hoping for now is just an easy going and healthy pregancy...!
IT'S A GIRL!!! besidse just it being fun to have one of each, it takes a huge load off our shoulders. It is very likely that my sons promblem is genetic, but it probably affects only boys... So this time around I hope to go through the whole 9 months with no complications...
