My name is Anna, and I'm 20 years old, single, and i gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Sierra May 19th,2008. I live on a ranch in the middle of nowhere, and i've become a loner, since most of my friends have bailed. My baby's father and i dont have a very good relationship, but thats ok, because i dont need him. As of right now I spend pretty much all of my time at home (town is about 20 miles away, and gas is expensive), but it gives me and my daughter a chance to bond with no distractions or unwanted visitors .
So i didnt post about my labor, but i have to say it wasnt as bad as i thought it would be. I was induced at 7 am on May 19th (i was due the 18th), and the first medication they gave me (cytotec(sp?)) didnt work, so around noon my dr decided to put an internal monitor on me, and she broke my water. they had planned on giving me pytocin, but my body went into labor naturally. I planned on doing everything natural, but by the time i got to 8cm i really wanted an epidural, so i waited 10 minutes for the anesthesiologist to get there. the nurse said i could relax for a little while after i had the epidural, but less than 15 minutes later the dr came in to check me and said it was time to push. I pushed for i think a grand total of 7 minutes, and my littlesierra arrived at exactly 7:00 pm on May 19th. She weighed 6lbs. 7oz, and was 19.5 in long with dark brown hair and blue eyes.
