My name is Heather. I am a babywearing, cosleeping, breastfeeding, homeschooling, quirky kind of mama. I am married to my best friend, Nathan. We have one daughter together (Anya) and he is a wonderful father to my daughter Ella. I have PCOS and it sucks big time. I was diagnosed 09/2011. We are trying to conceive baby #3 and PCOS is basically just making that as difficult as possible.






I haven't been on here in awhile. Life has been on the super crazy side for the past year or so, and I just didn't have time for BabyGaga.  


I am Pagan, and proud of it. I always love a good healthy debate, and I try incredibly hard not to cause drama.

With my oldest daughter's pregnancy I ended up with pre eclampsia. I was induced three weeks early, on August 5th, and after 11.5 hours of labor (and a failed epidural)I had my baby girl Ella Shae!

I probably had the easiest labor in the existence of labors with my youngest. Around 10pm on February 27 my water broke, but it was pretty much just a trickle. For an hour I wandered around the house getting stuff together while my in laws watched Modern Family. Finally I posted something on Facebook and my sister in law was like... "so your water broke huh?" My MIL freaked out lol. She went through 3 outfit changes before we left. 11:30-we headed to the hospital. Bear in mind that I wasn't having ANY contractions at this point. I was taken up to L&D where they told me that my water HADN'T broken. They kept me up there though until 2am just in case. The first time they checked me, I was only 1.5cm dilated. At 2 am it was the same. I was getting up to go pee since they were going to let me go home when my bag of waters gushed all over the floor. That was fun lol. They were like.... oh. At 4am I was dilated to 4. Still no contractions. Got an epi just in case. At 7 I was 7cm. At 7:21am my youngest Anya Nicole was born.
