My name is Jennifer and I just gave birth to my beautiful little boy. His father and I were so incredibly happy when we finally got to meet him! After 24 hours of labor I had a c-section. I'm home now, but the hospital stay was rough, although everyone told me I was doing SO well. He was 4 weeks early, so he's a preemie! Although, he weighed 7lbs so he's a big preemie...
He was born with a small respiratory problem, which turned into a phuemathorax (collapsed his left lung after putting a small hole in it trying to breathe so hard). He's better now, and after just 5 days in the special care nursery, all we're waiting on now is for him to learn how to eat and to be stable enough to maintain his body temp. in an open crib.
We can't wait to bring him home and cuddle him, since we didn't get to a whole lot while he's been in the hospital!
