I am married and I have 1 child who is 7 years old (boy). I have suffered from a Partial Molar Pregnancy in 2004. I had severe morning sickness and just did not feel right. All my ultrasounds came normal and than in my 12th week appointment they broke the news to me that the baby no longer had a heartbeat. I carried the passed on fetus for two weeks until they could have a specialist do the D&C to prevent me from hemorrhaging cause I developed a baseball size cyst on one ovary and the other was covered in clusters. Only after the D&C they found it was a Partial Molar Pregnancy. I had to have blood drawn weekly to make sure my HCG levels were dropping cause if they weren't I would be at risk for cancer and have to start Chemo. Luckily They dropped! I was told not to TTC for a year and a half. I been so scared to even try that I never did.The day before Christmas 2007 I found out I was pregnant. I have been so scared that I may suffer another molar pregnancy and have been living on eggshells so far this pregnancy. My doctor has been monitoring me closely. I just prayed please let me get by the first trimester. Well I am happy to say I have entered the 2nd trimester and my baby looks perfect!
Here's Looking forward to August 2008!
*UPDATE* I have now entered my 3rd trimester and my little Girl is doing great. However I did recently find out that I have high blood sugar ( Gestational Diabetes) and check my blood 4 times a day and take insulin twice a day.
