My name is Terra Crabtree, I got pregnant when I was 15 yrs old, about 2 or 3 months before my 16th birthday. I had a rough pregnancy. For about the first 4 months of my pregnancy I had morning sickness all day, everyday. By the time that ended, I started having early contractions. I had to be put on a monitor 1 day a week, and I had to take medicine that helped me from dialating. Around my 36 weeks, they stopped bringing me in to be monitored and I stopped taking my medicine, I also stopped having contractions. I was also dilated 1 CM and and wasn't making anymore progress. About 3 or 4 days before my 38 weeks, my doctor set a date on when she would induce me. I had Nate Thomas Deason, on March 13, 2008, the day of my 38 weeks. My doctor didn't even deliver him, she made it in there just as he came out. The nurse was just suppose to get him to crown and then the doctor was gonna come in and take over, well once he started crowning he didn't stop. He was gorgeous. He weight 6lbs and 11oz. Labor and delivery was the worst and best experience of my life.

Now, Nate is 1 years old and is starting to learn to walk. He's growing up way too fast! His not gonna be my little baby anymore. My worst fear is that he will grow up and be one of those kids that recent their parent. I have no idea how I'm gonna handle that. He's my life, the only thing i have. I don't wanna be one of those over protective moms, but I want my son to know that I love him and want him to know that I'm always here for him and he can tell me anything. What am I talking about, he's only 1 years old. I'm acting like he's already a teenager. Ugh, I don't know how my mom did this, I'm stressing out. I love him more then life itself. He's all I could have ever asked for, don't know what I would have done without him.

Now that you've learned a little bit about my son, heres some things about me. I'm now 17 yrs old and a senior in high school. I graduate in May, and want to go to college to get my Pharmacy Tech Certification. I'm in love with my babies father, John Deason. He is all I could have asked for in a boyfriend. He's there for me and our son, even though we are both still in high school, he provides for us the best he can. I have the greatest friends ever. They are always there for me, especially my bestie Jamie, she's always there for me and when I couldn't be excited about my pregnancy she always showed me the bright side of things and made everything soo much better. I've meet a lot of great people on this site, a lot of people on this site helped me through my pregnancy. Soo, I want to do the same thing they did for me and help other women or young ladies that get on this site and need some one to talk to or some advice from a mother that is young.
