my real name is jelena (pronounced yellena)........i was born in a lovely small city Novi Sad in the old communist Yugoslavia......my childhood was quite happy.....my family traveled a lot during summer vacations so i got to see many different places..........so my love for history, and ancient architecture was born early, and we visited most of the places in the old Yugoslavia.......now Bosnia, Croatia, and some parts of Serbia.........and every summer was spent at the Adriatic sea, making those times the most memorable in my life..........

In 1998 my family moved to Canada in search of a better life.........we have been living in Toronto since then.........this is my home now........but i still get nostalgic for Novi Sad from time to time.

I met my husband in Toronto in 1999 (I was 21, and he was 24 at the time).......we got married in 2002...........and we created the most beautiful being together.
Our baby is the best thing that ever happened to me............i'm overly protective of our little one, i love him more than i love myself (and i do love myself a lot   ).....he means the world to me.

At the moment i'm a stay at home mom taking care of Phillip........there is a job waiting for me to go back to in September.......i work for a company called Precidio as their industrial designer. All my designs belong to them......you can see my latest items being sold as Rachael Ray designs (the "hipster bowls, and plates")......as well as some other tacky stuff i did for Canadian club (a hockey helmet ice cube bucket   ), some bottle openers for Baileys, and other junk ....... i call all that the garage sale stuff........i've been working there for 2 years, and started my maternity leave the day i gave birth.
Phillip's birth was unexpected, and too quick to get the epidural.......my labour lasting under two hours was surprisingly easy for me, and i was ready to have another baby right away.

I'm dreaming of having a large family of 7 kids
