alllast visit: 11 hrs agomember since: Jan 2nd 2008about me:

My name is Jennifer I am 24 years old and a mother to an amazing little boy who was born on November 13, 2008 *Carter Matthew Ritch*. I loved being pregnant, every moment of it. I'm addictd to scrapbooking, drnking wine, reading good books and swimming. I am a clean freak, you will never find dust in my house...I dare you to try. I am a girl who used to get her nails done once a week, I have gotten them done once since my son has been born...for a wedding. I rather buy something for my son and quite honestly it get's ruined way too fast now because my hands are constantly being washed, so it's just not worth it. I don't wear make-up...except for mascara. I am laid back, honest and carnig, probably too caring, but don't ever cross me because I am not forgiving and I don't forget. Pizza is my favorite food, even though I love to cook. I make all of Carter's baby food he has never had anything out of a jar. I am proud to say that I am the mother I always wished to become.

Mark and I are not married, mainly because we want to wait until we have enough money to have the wedding we would like instead of rush into things, giving Carter a good life was our number one priority so maybe within the next 2 years we will be able to say "I do" and eventually add to our family. For right now we are content and happy and that's all that matter's. We alternate our work schedules and each work 3 double shifts a week so we are able to stay at home with Carter. I wouldn't have it any other way, how many children get to have both of thier parents home with them during the week? not many....spoiled little boy....lol He is our life, and he has us wrapped around his finger.
Mark has been an amazing dad from day one, he has changed diapers, washed bottles, got up every other time with me at night, he has even made baby food. Everyday he reminds me why I am so in love with him.

Carter was born at 3:23 pm on November 13, 2008, weighing 7 lbs 5.5oz from the moment he entered the world I knew he was amazing and perfect. Watching him grow and learn has been the most rewarding, and challenging experience of my life. Every milestone he reaches is so exciting, who knew waving hi, and giving yourself a bottle were the most amazing accomplishments? Waking up to him every morning is the best give ever, we are truly blessed to have a happy & healthy child.

We are the type of parents who are dedicated to our child, we barely go out because being with him is more important, but we do enjoy ourselves and have a good time. The only way to sucessfully parent & be in a relationship is to have quality time together, lots of laughs, and good sex.....without these three things you are doomed. Everynight after Carter goes to sleep Mark and I enjoy our QT I usually have a glass of wine and he'll drnk his beer, we cuddle up on the couch and chat, and laugh together. It's something that we look forward to and as a couple we need. We are laid back about some things and uptight about others, if carter falls and get's a scrape no biggie he'll live, If you ever raise a hand to our child, we will hurt you. We didn't keep Carter inside as an infant, but we didn't let stranger's touch him. Now that he is getting older we are letting him figure things out on his own and not rushing to his assitance if he get's frustrated about something. We let him watch 1/2 hour of Tv every morning Mickey Mouse...his favorite any other Tv is a no-no in our home excpet on a rainy day we will pop in a baby einstein dvd. We learn from each other and make alot of decision's along the way, parenting is a journey we have just begun and we intend to do it together as a team.

*For anybody wondering about 3d ultrasounds......

I got mine done at 25 weeks, I HAD to have it done....it was amazing at the time and I loved it up until he was born but now the real thing is way better & IMO it was a waste, I won't be doing it again with the next baby, I haven't even looked at the video or any of the pictures since he's been born!
