alllast visit: 6 days agomember since: Jan 10th 2008about me:
I'm 28 years old, married and live in Ohio. We have one little one, Benjamin Joseph, who was born on August 25, 2007. He was 1 day early but we were induced due to a drastic drop in amniotic fluid. He was 6lbs and 2 ounces when he was born. At our four month checkup, he was 13lbs and 6 ounces. He is a formula baby by my choice. He has been diagnosed with torticollis. We have been through9 months of therapy, two visits to the orthopedist, one visit to the neurosurgeon and2 visits to theneuro developmentalist. I have become something of an expert with this whole thing and will talk to anyone about it.
At our 9 month check up, he is now 18 lbs and 27 inches long. Catching up quick. He now combat crawls and sits up on his own. We are working with the PT's with a collar to correct the way he holds his back and shoulders. Seems like they get bigger every day.
We had our one year check up, he is now almost 19 pounds and 28 1/2 inches. He crawls on all fours and cruises the house. We were released from therapy today after 9 months.. We are extending his rear facing as long as possible .
