alllast visit: 11th Novmember since: Jan 11th 2008about me:
My name is Jess, my husband, James and I met when we we both living in the Pittsburgh, PA area.
He was my flight instructor, and it turned out that we had much more in common than aviation =)
We love adventure and travel, and like to move around. We want to experience as much of the world as we can from the view point of a resident, not just a visitor or tourist.
We currently live in Kansas, and are looking forward to our next big adventure. Between 2007 and 2008 we lived in 4 time zones and have gone from PA, to AZ, to in the minddle where we are now.
We have a little beauty named Amelie Manon who was born on August 13, 2008 at 8:12 am, she was 7 lbs. and 20" long. We love our little family, and couldn't be happier.

I love a wide variety of things- flying, bead weaving, crochet, reading, music, NPR, talk radio in general of all types, This American Life, Car Talk, Eckart Tolle, Billie Holiday, Mount Eerie, traveling, learning, helping others, exploring, Jamaica, poetry, philosophy, semiotics, semantics and the like; most of all James and Amelie

Dad, you are an amazing example of humanity. I can't believe you are gone. I will forever be grateful that I had you in my life for as long as I did. Your wisdom, your intelligence, your kindness, generosity, and your sense of humor are some of the things I will miss the most. You carried yourself so gracefully as ALS slowly took you away from us. What a horrible disease to be faced with, yet you were more brave then all of us put together. As your body failed you, instead of becoming bitter, what you had taken away from you was replaced by peace and kindness. What an inspiration to us all. I cannot express how terribly you are and will be missed. There is a hole in my heart where you belong, and though I am grateful you are no longer suffering, I miss you more than words can say. I am so grateful that you got to meet Amelie, but I am saddened you passed before she could learn for herself what a wonderful person you were. I now know that while most people live into their 80's these days, you had 80 years of wisdom crammed into the 51 years you had on Earth.
