I am due Sept. 5th and both excited and nervous to be a first time mommy... just hoping to connect with other expecting moms and create a support system here  

I am from Vancouver, Wa. and the weather is horribly hot! It is supposed to be 105 today! BLEH!! My pregnancy is going well. I am 29 weeks now but I have gestational diabetes.   I have lived here in Vancouver for the past 3 years but I am from the area. I lived in Longview,wa before here for about 5 years. I know what you mean though. Longview is about an hour away and that is where all my friends are and an hour one way is kinda far to drive to see all of them on a regular basis. I have had to lean on my hubby quite a bit. I have been kinda lonely too and it's hard to not have my friends around to go shopping with and all that.
