I am a mother to be. I am soo soo excited! I have never been soo happy! I am due September 29th and that date cannot come soon enough!













I am20 years old this is my first child. My little one was definitely a suprise! lol when the doctor told me I was speechless! I even told her she mixed up my test with another patient! lol... It is an absolutely wondeful suprise though. My boyfriend, 24, moved into my apartment when I first found out I was pregnant, he makes me a little crazy (lol)but having his support is unbelievably helpful. Both of our families are extremely supportive and excited. My parents cannot believe they are about to be grandparents! ahh!- for them right?! lol they will be super grandparents. I am soo thankful for EVERYTHING in my life right now. It is like a dream. I can't wait to see my little ones face! I just hope my baby is healthy as can be!

3/10/08- Went to the doctors today and heard our little ones heartbeat!   It was the sweetest thing ever! Also we got a new due date! 9/29/08 It is only one day less but hey, one day less is better then one more day!   We are 11 weeks exactly today!
4/7- Our next 3D/4D Ultrasound to check on baby-
4/8- After a "computer malfuntion" at our lovely clinic on the 7th we rescheduled an ultrasound for 4/8 Luckily this ultrasound cleared me, my family, and my doctors of any health concerns with the baby. The doc said the baby was healthy as can be and the brain was developing lovely and the rest of the body was developing beautifully. I loved seeing my baby, I couldn't believe how much my little one has grown already! Our peanut was crossing it's legs andcovering their little face quite a bit, my doc is thinking we are going to have a little drama queen ( or drama king )! lol My guess is we're having a girl! I can't wait to find out! I loved seeing my babys arms and legs punching and kicking all over! I loved their little hands, oh my, they were soo cute! Im in loooove! Babys heartbeat 141
4/11- Our next monthly visit with our doctor   I had my appointment my babys heart beat was 153 bpm My doctor and I can't believe how quickly time is going! My doctor told me I was 16 weeks already...hmmm.... it feels like my due date has been changed soo many times so Im just going to stick to the date I have because then I won't freak out if I'm "over due". lol. I've gained 5 lbs. UGH!! Luckily my doctor ok'd my trip to Italy for a month and half this summer I"M SOOOO EXCITED!! I've been there once before so I'm very very excited to go back. I leave in about1 month and 1 week. So I am going to have an ultrasound and see my doctors the week before I leave. AND at that ultrasound I will find out if I'm having a boy or girl! YAY! Then I can find some cute cute cute stuff in Italy for my little one!
5/5/08- Today we had another ultrasound and I found out we are having a BOY!!!   My son has the cutest little penis I've EVER seen! lol My little one is completely healthy and my doc ok'd my trip to Italy. I just have to go back for another ultrasound when I get back from Italy. There was one concern of my doc's but obviously it was not that serious which I was extremely relieved about.  
5/9- Doc's appt. heard my little princes heart beat!   140 bpm My doc isa little nervous about my long trip to Italy but wished megood luck and a great time. She wants to see me as soon as I get back so we set up an appointment. My uterus is right at my belly button! hehe   and my doc said my weight is right on track!   YAY!

9/5/08 ultrasound little Gabriel was mooning the camera like crazy! lol we got two pics of his cute little penis and bootay. He weighs 3 lbs. 13 oz.   He was hiding from the camera so we couldn't get a pic of his face   I think he's making me and daddy wait till his b-day to finally see him! Also he has a ton of hair already! my doc told me and I got to see it in our 4D.
9/28/08 last appt. With my reg. OB doc. next time I see her is when she comes to the hospital to snip my little princes winky dink! lol I now have the rest of my appt's with my other doc who will actually deliver my little one. My doc told me I was not dialated yet but I was thinned out.   can't believe 29 days left!!

Your reaction to finding out you were pregnant? I was SOOO nervous! I wasn't planning on having kids for like 5 years. But, It was a wonderful suprise. I was super excited.
Your family’s/partner’s reaction? My family was very upest.... it was not exactly what they had "planned" for me. But after some time passed, they are sooo excited to have a grandson on the way, especially my dad. It was so sweet he told me he knew it was his father that blessed our family with a grandson. It was the sweetest thing ever. My boyfriend was so happy and excited, he cried, it was sooo sweet!!  
Was abortion a consideration? No it was not
Did you think you were too young/too old? Even though I'm 20 I still feel young to be raising a child.
Did you think you were financially unstable? No. My boyfriend and I work our butts off at work.
Did you think you were physically unstable? Um noooo
Were you completely prepared? I'm as ready as I'm ever going to be!   Can't wait!!
Do you have pets? Well my baby girl Bella is technically my mothers dog, she lives with her but she is still my special baby. Sometimes I spend the night there so that I can sleep with her!! lol
What did you do to prepare them? She is very good with babies! Except I think she may be a liiiiiittle jealous.... we will see! lol  
How soon did you tell your boss? Right away! I couldn't wait to tell my boss. At my second job I was soo pregnant when I was hired they already knew! lol
How many pregnancy tests did you take? My doc told me lol I had NO idea I was pregnant. I was going to change birth controls and she wanted to do a pregnancy test. I thought there was NO way I was pregnant. I was soo shocked. When I got home I took a test just to make sure she was right! lol

How many weeks were you when you went to the doctor? like 4 weeks
How did you feel when you first heard the heartbeat? I cried, it was sooo beautiful

How do you feel about same sex couples w/babies? I think it's great!! EVERYONE should have babies!!   ( I'm extremely pro-adoption   )
Are you in a biracial relationship? Ummm we're both Mexican. But I'm sure we have a little bit of something else mixed in.... not that I know of though.
How do you feel about having a biracial baby? Does it matter if a baby is biracial?? All babies are special and beautiful.
How does your family feel? My family is extremely accepting of EVERYONE. I love that about them. They never judge anyone.
Will you raise your baby solely based on your race (whether your baby is biracial or not)? No. Although my boyfriend and I are both Mexican. I am adopted and my father is Dutch and my mother is Swedish so we have all sorts of crazy traditions and things so my son will be raised with all of these different races and traditions. My family also loves to travel so he will get to see different cultures. We are planning his first international trip to Austria for next summer. I'm soo excited!
What can you not wait to do with your baby? Hold himin my arms, look in tohis eyes, kiss him, and tell him how much I love him.Also I'm very excited to travel with him!
