My husband, Dieter, and I were married last year on July 7th. (yes, another 7-7-07 wedding...) We are both Southern California former natives transplanted to the Southern Oregon Coast. We met in Oregon shortly after we each moved up here about 2 years ago. He's the love of my life, in the best times and the worst of times. It must have been fate for us to find each other, considering we both lived in Cali for so many years and it took moving to another state to find one another!!


Well, not too long afterwards, we got pregnant...
This is my little baby bean at approx. 9 weeks:


We also have 7 other "babies" -- 3 cats (Cloe, Gypsy, and Creepy, all rescued or once-feral cats), as well as two big black rescued dogs (Roy - a Chinese Shar-Pei x Staffordshire Terrier mix, and Tannin - a black labrador) and two smooth coat miniature Dauchshunds, Ava and Adolph.
