Hey my names Amanda,

I am 21 years old; I was born with spina bifida. I’ve been through some really hard times but I’ve managed to pull through with a big smile on my face  . I am currently 6 weeks pregnant; which means this is a VERY high risk pregnancy! This will be our first baby, and we are so excited!!. I’m hoping that the baby will be born without spina bifida as I know what its like first hand and I don’t think that I could EVER be as strong as my parents were.

A month ago I married the man of my dreams (Steve, who is 30!), yep that’s right that makes him 9 years and 3 months older then me lol. I love him so much; he is my best friend, the love of my life, my entire world. All I’ve ever wanted to do was to have kids with him.

I seriouly feel awesome. No morning sickness just naueous. Sometimes I get period like cramps but that's about it. Sorry to hear you were in the hospital, but as long as your baby is ok it's worth it right? <3 keep it touch!
