I'm a 27 year old mother of one boy, married to Mike, the greatest husband I could ask for. We've been married for 3 years, and Jasper was born Dec. 15, 2007. I suffered a miscarriage in December '08 while on birth control, and it took until April '09 for my body to recover from that. Have been trying to conceive our second for months now, and it looks like our dreams may come true. Today, after 2 weeks of cramping, balloon boobs, back pain and general weirdness I got a faint BFP this morning (Oct. 1st). We shall see if it's the real thing! I still expect my period to start at any moment, it's only natural...I will be testing every day for the next several days to make sure it's real! Wish me luck!
Our son Jasper is 22 months old and has been diagnosed with mild autism. He's a beautiful and happy child, he's just delayed in areas (speech, cognitive and sensory). In addition to him being in Speech Therapy (and soon starting OT), he was just enrolled in Early Head Start at a special learning center nearby, which we are so excited for!
Other than that, we live in a small town in Downeast Maine in a cottage near the seaside with our 4 cats:
