I breastfeed. At home, in public, uncovered.

Here are my badges:
purple for a rough start. I was misdiagnosed with MRSA when Lydia was one week old. i pumped and dumped, and formula fed for a week. It was nowhere near as rough as some rough starts, but it was probably the hardest week of my life up to that point.

khaki green for reaching 6 weeks


bronze for 3 months

silver for 6 months

gold for 12 months


platinum for 18 months.

Only 2 months until we reach our next goal of 2 years!








I made my own baby food and practiced child led solids. By doing this, we waited to introduce solids until Lydia showed readiness and we allowed her to choose whether it was pureed (she didn't like that) or soft small pieces of food.
