I am a mom of a wonderful 5 year old boy and soon to have another baby boy. My oldest son is named Jareth Braden, and we have picked the name Fenix Brian-Robert for baby. Jareth: named after the David Bowie character *jareth* in the movie Labyrinth. Was my fav movie as a kid (still love it) and i like "different" names. Fenix: named partially because of 2 of my uncles that died in 2 separate fires. (hence: the 2 middle names). Also i lived in arizona for 13 years and miss it. We like the alt. spelling, i think it looks more masculine.

I live in Iowa, was born here, but lived in Mesa, Arizona for 13 years.

BABY BOY #1
Jareth was born at 34 weeks in Chandler, Az -- he came out head and foot first. His cord got wrapped around his body while his foot was up by his head and he couldnt put it down. Lucky, he wasnt a huge baby - 5lbs 12 oz & 17 1/2 in. Comically, whenever you laid him down for at least 2 weeks his leg stuck straight up in the air.

Was a single mom from the time i was pregnant with Jareth until he was 2 years old. Yes, it's hard, yes, it was mostly my choice. It gave me the strength to do many things, including go back to school to be a graphic designer. Single moms rock! they put up with more crap than they should ever have to. Its a hard job - but i wouldnt have changed a second of it!!
I have now been dating the same wonderful man for 3 years and we are expecting another boy.

BABY BOY #2
I am being induced on June 2nd (because of the toxemia). Getting real excited!! I am hoping for a non-eventful vaginal birth (lol). but who knows, Jareth surprised me too.
