What was your first reaction?: To throw away my cigarettes, well-- actually I gave them away.
Who was with you when you found out?: I was alone.
Who was the first person you told?: My friend, Ashley. Now I feel bad for not telling Will first, but I was on my way to see Ashley, because her best friend died the same day I found out I was pregnant.
How did your parents react?: My father was surprisingly supportive. I told him before telling my mom, because my maternal grandmother went into a coma the day I found out I was pregnant. She died a few days later, so I waited to tell my mom until after the funeral. My mom was upset at first, but is very excited now.
How far along are you?: 34 Weeks.
What was your first symptom?: Nausea.
What is your due date?: October 1st.
Do you know the sex of the baby?: Yes.

Do you have stretch marks?: Unfortunately, but they aren't horrible.

Have you heard the heartbeat?: Yes. Many times now.
About the birth
Home or hospital birth?: Hospital
Natural or medicated birth?: Medicated, please!
Who will be in the delivery room with you?: Will, of course. Possibly my mom.
Will you breastfeed?: Yes.
Do you think you'll need a c-section?: No, but honestly-- I wouldn't mind it.
Will you cry when you hold the baby for the first time?: Yes. I'm pretty certain I will. I cry easily.
What's the first thing you might say to him/her?: Who the fuck knows.
Would you let someone videotape the birth?: Nope, and at my hospital you aren't allowed to.
Are you excited about the birth, or scared?: Neither, really. I'm not terrified of it, but... I'm not excited. It'll hurt.
