alllast visit: 12th Novmember since: Mar 18th 2008about me:
I have fraternal twins. We were lucky to have a girl and a boy! My water broke at 4am and that was a sight to see I'm sure!--Trying to figure out how to get to the hospital with hardly any sleep at all, a half way packed hospital bag (as it was almost two months early) and contracting every 4-5 min with a beach towel wrapped around me! I was in labor for 12 hours and pushed for only 45 min. They were born 11 minutes apart. I had never felt such exhaustion in my entire life and probably never will!
Audrey Hope was 4lbs 4oz and Aiden Honor was 4lbs 9oz. They were delievered 7 weeks early. Audrey spent 19 days in the NICU and Aiden spend 22 days in the NICU. That was the hardest thing to deal with. Then Audrey got sent home first and we were having to juggle taking care of one baby at home and visiting one baby at the hospital. Finally on October 20th, they were both home together. Life was a circus and very overwhelming after that for a couple of weeks. My husband is an amazing help and I couldn't do this without him! I have a wonderful little family and I am having so much fun watching them grow. Having preemies to raise has been tough so far but it's getting better!
