Hey everyone!!
Kayliana Alexis was born on Thursday, August 28th at 7:41pm weighing 6lbs, 6oz and 4 days overdue! She was 19.5 inches long and her head was 13.5 which was a pleasent surprise (her big brother was 6lbs, 15ozs, same in length but his head was 15.5!! Needless to say I couldn't walk for weeks)!
We are so happy to now be a family of 4!! Well, 5 including our doggy, Dilla! We're blessed beyond belief! <3
I'm a singer...always and forever! I have a band and we have a lot of dates this summer, so we hired another gal to cover for me! Family always comes first, so I'm not worried about it! My big dreams would include a recording contract...that's the plan but it's a little bit on hold for at least the summer! After that, I will have no problem bringing along the little ones with my mom or sister there to help!

*I am the only female voice on the CD...let me know what you think!!! (the other gal is there to help while I'm gone! She is a sweetheart!)

I live about an hour away from my friends and family for my man's job...so BG is a great way to connect with people!! And I love to compare!! ;)
PREGNANCY UPDATES:
*Things have been progressing nicely, although at the beginning of my 26th week I started throwing up daily and feeling really crappy...I went to the doc and she thinks it is/wasa stomach bug, but I think it has a lot to do with major acid...because it's not going away and it's been a week!! Could this be late morning sickness??!! I had it during the 1st trimester, but took organic ginger capsules and it went away!! I just want to feel good again! UPDATE: Looks like it was a bug made worse by acid!! But my acid has got better too!

*Appointment on Thursday, May 29th at 10:20am, measured small so sent to ultrasound at 5:30pm that day. Called the doc May 30th and she said it all looked normal! (Tech also assured me it REALLY was a girl!!)
*Appointment on Monday, August 18th at 1:20pm, I am FINALLY at a "fingertip" dialated! Woo hoo!! My last 3 appointments have been a week apart and each time I was completely closed so any action is good action!!
ALSO, little baby girl (who is still currently unnamed) is posterior...dang it...so I have been spending a lot of time leaning forward in hopes gravity will grab her back and twist her around!
*Appointment on Monday, August 25th at 1:20pm, I am at 1cm and 30% effaced. My doc set up an induction appointment at my hospital for Monday night, the 1st at 8pm for cervidil, then Tuesday the 2nd they will start pitocin. Needless to say I am trying my hardest to have this baby BEFORE then...seeing that I DO NOT WANT AN INDUCTION!!!! But I trust my doc to know what's best for me and my little one.

Well, yes I can believe it...but I always thought for sure with my 2nd baby I'd go early...but I guess this little girl of mine is waiting for the perfect moment!! I wanted badly to be an August mommy, but I just want her to be happy, healthy, and strong so I am willing to wait!! I want to have a natural birth. I don't want to be induced!! Inducing highly increases the likelihood of other interventions including C-Section, and I DON'T WANT one of those. Also, I want to start looking at birth as a natural occurance, and not a medical emergancy that warrents the need for augmentation...so needless to say I don't want to take drugs for the pain or have an epi. I do, however, understand the need for those augmentations and interventions in many different situations, I'm just hoping and trying very hard to not have them be a part of mine. To each their own...and I'd hope we'd all put the needs of our babies before the desires of convienience! (ie I would have liked to have her out last week, but I can wait
).
