7/07 - Stopped BCP and started TTC
11/25/07 - Day of last period
4/16/08 - FINALLY diagnosed with PCOS and Endometriosis.
5/7/08 - First laparoscopy surgery to remove cysts and stage 4 Endo
6/16/08 - Start 50mg of Clomid CD 5-9


I'm originally from Dallas, Texas, and I'm now living in Shreveport, Louisiana with my Husband, Drew. He is currently serving in the US Air Force. We are stationed at Barksdale AFB, with our two cats, Bart and Maggie, and our dog, Zelda. Everything is going great, and although being a military wife is hard sometimes, I'm enjoying every minute of it.

I had an unexpected pregnancy 4 years ago and miscarried, and ever since I haven't had a period without the help of BCP. I even went 2 years without one. My husband and I decided to start TTC in July 2007 and after 6 months without a period they finally sent me to an infertility specialist.

Since then I have learned that I have PCOS and stage 4 Endometriosis. I had my first Laparoscopy surgery on 5/7/08 and had endo, cysts, and scar tissue removed from my ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, liver, gallbladder, intestines, etc., and I also had a D&C. We were originally told to wait 6 months, but after learning the extent of how bad everything was, he recommends we start trying again now while my body is clean before everything grows back.

I'm always up for meeting new people, and I love talking to others who are TTC.
