I'm 25 years old, engaged, and we are expecting our first child in November. My Finace and I are both from Flint, MI and live in Norfolk, VA now. We've been here a little over a year now and absolutely love it. I do have to admit that I haven't made many friends here in VA so I'm kinda alone in this whole pregnancy journey, since the few people I used to hang with are still more interested in smoking/drinking/hitting the clubs, and I have removed myself from those activities. That explains why I'm here at baby-gaga. It would be really cool to meet some people in this area who are in the same boat as me who may like to chit-chat or hang out and do pregnancy-friendly things.... (I'm always up for EATING! LOL). March 3rd 2008 ~ He must have really missed me while I was gone for the weekend!! This is the day that I concieved so they tell me....

March 23rd 2008 ~ EASTER SUNDAY, took a pregnancy test and found out we were expecting!

March 26th 2008 ~ Went to Planned Parenthood to get a 2nd pregnancy test, just to be sure..... Yep!! Really Pregnant!!! Due date set for November 25th 2008. (This is the day we both told our parents about the pregnancy also. Might as well get it over with...)

April 7th 2008 ~ Had to cancel my first prenatal appointment   Didn't have insurance coverage yet....

May 12th 2008 ~ First Prenatal appointment. They took some pee in a cup and about a gallon of blood...(ok, not really. But they took a lot!). Marc came too and we heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time!!

May 17th 2008 ~ Took a Glucose Tolerance Test for Gestational Diabetes... Everything came back normal (Thank God!)

June 9th 2008 ~ Second prenatal appointment. They wanted more pee and blood... Took the Triple Screen Test. No abnormal result yet.... Heard the heartbeat again. 150bpm! Also, scheduled Ultrasound for June 23rd at 10:45am! Can't wait to find out pink or blue!

June 23rd 2008 ~ First Ultrasound today!! My little one is healthy and growing at a normal rate. And he showed us the goods!! It's official -
