My son was born 2 months premature and he was 4lb and 11oz.. He was put on a ventilator shortly after birth. His breathing was so bad he was on 90% oxygen support. The only option left was surfactin (I hope that's spelled right). I was terrified when they told us if this doesn't work there is nothing more they could do. The feeding tubes the ventilator tubes the iv in his belly button and worse of all not touching him was needless to say Hell. But, to say a miracle occured was an understatement.
