This is our first! It wasn't exactly planned but in a way I guess it was since we left it up to fate. In any case, we're blessed and can't wait to meet our little boy!
Baby Timeline:
February 26, 2008: LMP
March 19, 2008: 1st BFP (First Response Pregnancy Test)
March 20, 2008: 2nd BFP (Clearblue Easy Pregnancy Test)
April 10, 2008: First doctor's visit and u/s
July 2, 2008: Gender & Growth Scan Appointment
November 3, 2008: I'm officially 36 weeks now. We're in the last stretch! We're watching my blood pressure since it's a little high but Jordan's healthy and looking good. We get to see him at our next visit since we'll be doing a size and weight scan to see how big my baby boy is!
November 7, 2008: Well, we went for a simple blood pressure check at the doctor's office and he sent us straight to L & D. Apparently, my bp is fluctuating and he's not happy about it. They have scheduled an induction for November 12th at 2pm.
November 9, 2008: I wasn't able to make it to my induction date. I woke up with dizziness, nausea and a headache. We went straight back to L & D and they admitted me. I was induced with cervidil at 2pm. Pitocin was started at 2am on November 10th. As of 2pm on November 10th, I was only 4cm dilated. At 6pm, I had not progressed any further and started developing a fever. They decided to proceed with a c-section. Jordan Xavier Ignao was born at 7:45pm on November 10, 2008 at Summerlin Hospital. He weighed 6lbs 10.4oz and 18.5 inches long. I was exactly 37 weeks. His lungs weren't quite ready so he spent 5 days in the NICU. I was released from the hospital on November 13th. He was released from the NICU on November 15th.
