Got pregnant on April 5th, 2007.
We waited to find out the sex, until he was born.
Didn't see a doctor until I was 8 months along.
Now, I've got a beautiful baby boy.
His name is Rheyn Zephyr. (pronounced 'rain')
I had a hospital birth without an epidural.
Was in labor for 9 hours.
Went from 3cm - 10cm in five minutes.
Pushed 6 times in 10 minutes and he was out.
Rheyn waas born on December 22nd, 2007.
9:42 AM.
Weighed exactly 5 pounds & was 18 inches long.
He was full-term.
Had to stay in the hospital with him for 10 days.
He had jaundice & was on photo therapy lights.
His white blood cell count was extremely high.
No doctor could determine what caused it.
His 15th chromosome has some sort of disorder.
We have an appointment with the genetecist at the Children's Hopsital soon.
Little man also has a cleft palate.
He'll have surgery to fix that in July.
I love my little family.
