My name is Shantee I am 22 years old and my husband and I got married on September 22, 2007 and this is our first child. we found out on March 21st that were pragant. We could not be happier .We are having a girl and her name is Lauren Kay. We are so happy that God bless us with a little girl. God is in the middle of this whole thing. I live one day @ a time. I have Cerebral Palsy in my right side. God gave me this disabilty for a reason and I am so glad he did . So I can help others. I do have myspace

A newborn's conversation with God
(Beautiful!)

A baby asked God, 'They tell me you are
sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to
live there being so small and helpless?' God said,
'Your angel will be waiting for you and will take
care of you.'

The child further inquired, 'But tell me, here in
heaven I don't have to do anything but sing and
smile to be happy.' God said, 'Your angel will sing
for you and will also smile for you . And you will
feel your angel's love and be very happy.'

Again the child asked, 'And how am I going to be
able to understand when people talk to me if I don't
know the language?' God said, 'Your angel will tell
you the mostbeautiful and sweet words you will ever hear, and
with much patience and care, your angel will teach
you how to speak.'

'And what am I going to do when I want to talk to
you?' God said, 'Your angel will place your hands
together and will teach you how to pray.'

'Who will protect me?' God said, 'Your angel will
defend you even if it means risking its life.'

'But I will always be sad because I will not see
you anymore.' God said, 'Your angel will always
talk to you about Me and will teach you the way to
come back to Me, even though I will always be next
to you.'

At that moment there was much peace in Heaven, but
voices from Earth could be heard and the child
hurriedly asked, 'God, if I am to leave now, please
tell me my angel's name.'

God said, 'You will simply call her, 'Mom.'

Updates on Lauren and I

Well I am 30 week and 2 day time is going by very fast. I cant sleep good @ night now and my back is killing me that for sure. I go every 2 weeks now until i hit 36 weeks then I go every week until I have her. I go back to the doctor on the 24th.

As of today I am 34 weeks and 2 days I cant believe it is all most time for her to be here. I was in the hosptial off and on because my temp was going up and Lauren heart rate was up but now everything is great. I start labor classes the 23rd and i go back to the Doctor the 22nd. After that I go every week until I have her 


October 22, 2008- Well I went to the doctor today and I am 35 weeks and 3 days. Everything is great. Lauren's head is down so I am very happy about that  I only gain a lb. And my BP was good to. I start going every week.

On Monday October 27th Morning about 3:00 A.M. I started having Contractions... So my Husband started counting them. I went to the doctor @ 830 but my Cerix is still close But the midwife said I am having them. Her heart beat was good . I go back November 4th!

November 4th 2008- Well the midwife said my Cervix is starting to open and thin so I am happy about that  Her Heart beat was great and so was everything with me. I go back November 12th.

November 12th- I went to the doctor today I am 38 weeks & 3 days. I am still 1cm & half. Next Thrusday the 20th. the midwife is going to try to get my labor started more. If my body is ready I should have her with in 72 hrs of doing that. They told me that If I dont have her Then on December 1st they are inducing my labor )) I lost my plug saturday she said I could go into labor 2 to 14 days after that . The 14th day will be November 29th 2008. So please keep us in your prayers.
But her heart beat is great
