I work FT in a hospital as an Admin Assist for the Hospice department.
I am in grad school and working towards my Master in Social Work.
Yes...I'm VERY busy! 8 hour work days coupled with 4 hours of class 2 days a week...plus the research papers and readings...oy!
But I love it and thrive on chaos!

My first born:

He was due 12.27.08
6 hours of labor at home. 12 in the hospital.
Came to the hospital about 4-5 cm, got an epi right away and waited.
1 hour and 46 minutes of pushing and one hell of an episiotomy later, he was out!
All I wanted to do was eat!

She was due 10.29.10
Water broke at exactly 38 weeks, at work, right before my lunch (11:50 am)!
Got to L& D was atoll at 2 cm. as I was at my last appointment 3 days before.
Ate and had low dose of pit started at 3:30 pm.
Walked for HOURS up and down the hall. At 7 pm was only at 4 cm. Grrr.
Opted for the epi since it hurt bad. Walked until the anesthesiologist came an hour later. By then I was at 6 cm. Epi failed, I was only a tiny bit numb, then it went away!
My OB came to check me around 10 pm and I was at 8. After she checked me, she walked towards the door saying she was going to call the anesthesiologist to redo to epi. As she closed the door I had the worst pain in my butt and I started huffing and puffing. The nurse ran to grab my OB, she checked me and said baby was crowning. Talk about FAST! 8 cm to crowning in about a minute!!
No time for epi, so 14 minutes later my beebee was born. Not one tear!

Anatomy scan: 12.23.11 @ 18 weeks 5 days.
We're not finding out the gender!
4th OB app: 12.27.11 @ 19 weeks. Everything is looking great!
