Hey! My name is Mandy. I have two little boys, Luke and Jacob. I am completely in love with them and they are my world...along with my hubby. We live in Pittsburgh, PA.

I have been married to my highschool sweetheart since 2001, although we have been together since 1995. We have 2 cats (ages 12 and 7) and 1 dog (age 1 1/2). So, it is always hectic at our home! We have had our ups and downs, but manage to come out stronger each time. Now, we are blessed to have our very own family.




Luke Thomas was born on April 8, 2004-six weeks early. He weighed a whopping 6 pounds 9 ounces! Although he was big, he still had some breathing difficulties and jaundice. He stayed in the NICU for 5 days. We were so lucky with him! Now, he is a typical 4 year old with tons of energy and questions!


We found out the day before Thanksgiving (2007) that we are expecting our 2nd child. In February, we found out we are having another boy! Jacob Henry is due on July 18th, 2008. I have been watched very closely for any signs of preterm labor. I did well until 32 weeks when I began to contract and dialate. I was put on rest and told to just chill out.

On July 3rd, 2008, Jacob Henry made his appearence. He was born at 5:26 pm. He was 7 pounds 3 ounces and 20 1/4 inches long. He is fantastic! So handsome and looks so much like his big brother. He also made labor very easy. I only had to push for 6 minutes! I dialated from 5 cm to 10 cm in 1 hour. It all happened really quick. Thank you, Jake!



I am so happy to have my family of 4.
