So i spend the days all the same.
Make sure the LO has food, is happy and plays.
Off to the laundry, the dishes, the floors....
maybe some ironing if my motivation soars.
Between playing and cleaning and the occasional break
I do all my "women's work" and then its dinner to bake.
The places is spotless, give or take a few toys
Proud and accomplished, this worlds smallest joys.
Then in like a tornado he comes through the door,
throws his coat on the chair, his shoes on the floor.
His belt on a chair, his ironed shirt in a ball
You stand in shock, amazed by it all.
Cause that once spotless castle you spent all day on
In merely a few minutes that hard work is all gone.

And in the morning, you'll awake once more
To the dishes, the laundry and of course the floor
