Ive been married since 7/7/07 to my wonderful husband. whom ive been with for 3 years now. We just bought a house in Swansea, MA.
We have 2 dogs Riley, and Lola (which i love, but hate at the same time) and 2 wonderful kitties, Frankie and Sophie.


We areVERY excited to become parents! This will be our first baby, and the first biological grandchild on both sides of the family. We were planning on waiting at least another year before trying to have children. but sometimes someday comes sooner than expected!
On April fools my husband told me he quit his job as a joke, so to get back at him i decided i was going to tell him i was pregnant. i even went as far to have my friends pregnant cousin pee on a test for me. i planted it in the bathroom. and i got him good! he had a little moment of freak out, then i told him APRIL FOOLS!
Well... 2 weeks later i went out drinking with my friend. We had the same amount to drink all night and she is half my size. We got back to my place and i got really sick, throwing up and such.
My husband thought i had alcohol poisioning. So he took me to the ER where i was hooked up to an IV to rehydrate me and such. Wewere there for 3-4 hours. They finally say i can get ready and go so im about to get out of bed and get dressed when the DR comes in and goes "By the way.. Do you know that your pregnant??"
I thought he was joking. i even asked him if he was joking! but nope. He was serious.

i had to go get a pregnancy test right away and pee on it, lol. i had to see it for myself. And sure enough, (like i expected anything less) it came up positive.

We can not wait to meet our little one!


First day of last period: March 7th

Estimated date of conception: March 17th

Date we found out we were pregnant: April 13th

First Ultra Sound : May 29th - baby measuring 11 weeks and 6 days (2 days ahead of due date)

Second Ultra Sound : July 30th - Baby measuring 20 weeks and 5 days (2 days ahead of due date) ITS A GIRL!! Madelynn Althea. She already has adorable little chubby cheeks and mommies button nose!



First time Joey felt Madelynn move: August 20th

Next Appt: September 24th - Ultrasound

3D/4D ultrasound - September 20th
Total weight gained so far -12 pounds
