My name is Jennifer but most every one calls me Jenn. I am 24 years old, will be 25 the end of Sept. I am currently expecting my first lil bundle of joy, due Jan. 2, 2009. I found out on Aug 14, 2008 that I am having a lil boy! I am almost positive that his name will be Caleb Andrew. The father and I were dating at the time and now we are barely speaking, who knows maybe it is better this way?!!? I guess only time will tell. I am super excited! I am a preschool teacher and love every second of it. I have a very strong support system of family and friends!!! There is no doubt that my child will get all the love he deserves!!!

**Update Sept 6, 2008 23weeks 1 day**
This is just a quick update, I am 23weeks and 1 day preggo today and I am feelin GREAT!!! I just recently started teaching preK and I love it...my Caleb Andrew moves around alot during the day and my preschoolers always ask me whats in my tummy lol. Caleb moves around alot in the evenings when I finally lay down to rest...and he has been keeping me up at night but it is completely A OK...he is gettin my ready for when he comes in January! LOL. As far as me and BD, we are barely speaking...I found out last weekend that he possibly has another son on the way--he is due Dec6...things are crazy! I still hope and pray every day that things work out between him and I, but right now my main concern is my son. Well that was a quick lil update for you guys!! Oh yeah I am soooooooooooo addicted to this website lol!!!!! Hope you are all doing well!!!
**Update Sept.11 24weeks**
So I had my 24 week check today and had to do the gestational diabetes test. YUCK that drink tasted like fruit punch on crack lol waaaaaaaaaaaay too much sugar! Will get results from that in a few days--praying for the best--will keep you ladies informed. The doc said he has a STRONG VERY REGULAR heartbeat--yeeeeeaaaaa!!! She said my weight and size is perfect right where it needs to be! Yippie!! Caleb moves all the time and really seems to like it when I listen to R&B music...he moves alot!! Come on Jan I cant wait to meet him!!!
**Update Sept.15 24weeks4days**
I got my test results today, bo gestational diabetes and blodd counts are perfect (thats what the doc said  ). Went to Richmond this weekend, saw Caleb's God Father, the first time he has seen me since I really started to show. He got to feel Caleb move---YEEEAAA!! By the way his God Father is awesome...mostly he will be there when Mister Caleb Andrew makes his world debut!!! Hope all of you are doing wonderful!

I had my 28 week appt today...everything is good. Caleb's heartrate is 155 and I am measuring at 29cm. Next appt is Oct23. I am feeling Caleb move all the time, he is def on his own lil schedule in there....
**Update Nov 7 32 weeks**
Hey ladies...its been a while since I have updated...things are going great and time is flying!! Caleb is soooo active all the time now...sometimes it feels like he is gonna kick right outta there lol. Had my doc appt today...she said everything looks good..I am measuring one week ahead so who knows maybe I will have a 2008 baby afterall!! I am having my baby shower this sunday nov9...I am sooo excited and a lil nervous too! Well hope everyone is doing great!!!!

I know, these 8 months have flown by. I feel so blessed to not have had any major problems. I'm still working. I feel like I should have taken 2 weeks prior to my due date only because between the weekly doctor's appointments and me thinking about the baby or the other 100 things I need to do before he get's here, I'm not 100% here. What about you? Are you working?
